Meet the Instructor
Olivia Liu has practiced art since childhood, beginning formal
training in fourth grade with sketching and gouache painting. Her artistic practice has since grown to
span oil painting, ceramics, and photography.
She has taught sketching, color painting, ceramics, and
creative projects to students of all ages - both individually
and in small groups
Teaching Philosophy
In OliVista Art Studio, art is more than learning how to draw. Through observation and creative expression, students build careful observation skills, creative thinking, and confidence in their own ideas.
- Building enthusiasm through engaging, hands-on activities
- Learning visual language through the elements of art
- Developing observation and visual thinking
- Discovering artists and styles from around the world
- Expressing ideas creatively while building self-assurance
Small Group by Design
Every OliVista class is capped at 6 students. Small groups mean each student gets real one-on-one attention - a deliberate part of how we teach.
